Who We Are

Carolyn Pesheck (L) and Betsy Comstock (R) are siblings who have been envisioning this project for years as a useful way to enjoy our early retirement.

Carolyn is a chemist, recently retired from Pfizer after 20 years as a research scientist.  She has a long-standing interest in medicine and healthy ecology.  She is a member of Chapel Hill United Methodist Church in Portage, Michigan, served as an individual volunteer in mission in Maua, Kenya, and has worked with Habitat for Humanity and three Appalachia service projects.

Betsy is a psychologist and usability researcher, recently retired from IBM after 30 years working to make computer products good for people.  She is skilled at interviewing and analysis.  She has been active in the League of Women Voters and local government, is a member of St. Matthew’s United Methodist Church in Acton, Massachusetts, and recently participated in a mission project to Puerto Rico.
